Fertility yoga

The impact of daily or chronic stress on our bodies and our hormones are not to be underestimated. It can impact our bodies severely. If your body is in a ‘survival mode’ it will not prioritize getting pregnant. Mental and physical relaxation are thus essential to increasing fertility.

A Fertility yoga class consists of several yoga and breath exercises, meditation, and deep relaxation. The aim of the classes is to give you several tools to take with you to support you in creating the most optimal circumstances for a future pregnancy.

Want to give fertility yoga a try? Each month our lovely yogateacher and hormonal coach Iris gives an extra long Live-Stream yoga class. You don’t need any previous yoga experience to join the class. You are always welcome to join: whether you just started your journey, have been trying for a while or are ondergoing fertility treatment.

Want to join? We love the welcome you in class. To sign up you need to buy a fertility yoga credit which you can find in our webshop. By completing your payment through IDEAL, automatically, an account is made for you in our registration system ‘Virtuagym’, with your e-mail address and your choice of password. Log into the App or on your pc in our Online portal with your e-mail and password. Once you are logged in, find  your favorite class and book a spot in it in our Yoga schedule.

About Iris

Iris a yogateacher, certified Holistic Cycle Guide, Hormonal Health Coach and Birth Worker with an academic background in medical anthropology & women’s studies. She also qualified in holistic women’s health, traditional midwifery practices, and trauma informed coaching. Her work revolves around our menstrual and life cycles from periods to postpartum. In all her work, the main focus lays on getting to know our bodies (gaining body literacy), sharing tools to make informed body choices and cultivating a sense of body belonging throughout all changes and cycles our bodies move through.

She holds space for people to come home to themselves through embracing their bodies and cycles, practicing cyclical living and being in flow with their cycles instead of going against them. Iris supports cyclical beings through online coaching, courses & classes, circles and retreats; and her free online community Womb Wellness Circle.
